Seattle's Pike Place Market

This one is for all my non-Seattle followers. For those of you who have never been to Seattle and walked through the well-known Pike Place Market, here are a couple of shots that I took yesterday for you to enjoy. I think it's cool to see pics of places you've never been before. Let me know what you think.

  3. I have been to Seattle twice-Both times were fabulous! During my visit, The Pikes Place Market was never missed. I could spend all day there. I kept thinking that it would be great to live on one of the out islands, get a great cup of coffee and take the ferry in each weekend to shop at the Market. I would spend all day there!
    Nice photos.

  5. Thanks, everyone. Yeah, Pike Place Market is definitely a nice place to check out if you've never been there before. As you can expect, it gets packed on the weekends, especially when it's a nice day out. The produce and seafood is so fresh there.

Burp & Slurp: Seattle is definitely a food mecca. I feel like there are just so many restaurants here that I don't even know where to start. Eventually I'll get to all of them because I eat out almost everyday.

Fresh Local & Best: that's a great idea. I'll definitely try to take more pics when the season changes. I'm considering investing in a better camera, but for now this will do. Thanks for the advice.

OK, now I'd better get to running and working out so that I can stay in shape while enjoying all this delicious food in Seattle.

  18. I was lucky enough to visit Seattle's Pike Place Market a few years ago and your pix are a great reminder! My favorite souvenir from the market is a kick-ass belt embossed with the faces of rock 'n roll stars. But a close second was the orange-honey roasted almonds. I'm been searching for a recipe ever since. Thanks for sharing your impression of the Seattle food scene.
